Paul de Hert at "The gathering of April: The sacred"

For two weeks, dozens of art students, emerging artists and intellectuals gathered at Les Halles to investigate the role of the sacred in today’s world. On 23 April 2018, Paul de Hert took part in the gathering to reflect on these questions: What remains of privacy in the era of big data? Is the notion of person still sacred in times when governments wish to grant citizenship to artificial intelligence algorithms?
